Current ModSDK-Version is 5.0. Allows processing of almost all assets used in Tiberium Wars. Compatible to version 1.09 of the game. The new BuildModCivAsset.bat was added which now allows modifying civilian assets and correctly compiling maps.

Previous Versions

ModSDK 4.0

Added the manifest files for 1.09 to ensure compatibility. A new HUDReplayControlPanel screen was added and the TacticalHud UI screen was updated.

ModSDK 3.0

First version that modified the SDK to work with 1.09. Also includes enhanced documentation with updates to the Common Issues page, Building a Mod and new pages for Audio and Defines. Was quickly replaced with Mod SDK 4.0 due to a severe bug.

ModSDK 2.0

Updates the buildmod.bat to automatically generate the low LOD version of the mod. Includes XMLs, XSDs and manifest files for version 1.08. Now also comes with scripts.lua and IntelDB.xml for editing lua based scripts and the Intel Database.

ModSDK 1.0

Initial release of the Tiberium Wars Mod SDK. Can handle every asset type but modifying civilian assets is not entirely possible. Includes XMLs and manifest files for version 1.07.

General Information

Every SDK version features the 3DSMax plugins for creating W3X models, the W3X viewer and basic documentation.

All SDKs require at least version 1.07 of Tiberium Wars in order to run the mods created; it is however recommended to have the latest patch available installed.

Required Applications

.NET Framework Version 2.0 – Required to run the BinaryAssetBuilder application.

Visual C++ 2005 SP1 – Required to run the BinaryAssetBuilder application.

antlr.runtime.dll, antlr.astframe.dll & Mvp.Xml.dll – Required when using the <Define> tag and xi:include statements.
